Pickup + Welcome Dinner
Pick up at Termoli train station, then a short drive to Agriturismo Il Quadrifoglio in Montenero di Bisaccia surrounded by the beautiful vineyards of Cantina Terresacre. Once you’re settled there will be a briefing on your tour followed by a Welcome Dinner.

Aquaviva Collecroce + Wine Tasting at Cianfagna
Morning
9:00 a.m. we drive to Aquaviva Collecroce, a village with a mysterious charm to discover. The village boasts a long history acting as a base for the Knights of Malta giving it an atmosphere of medieval chivalry. In addition, there are several delightful fountains as well as Latin palindromes written into the very stones of the village itself.
Located near to Aquaviva Collecroce is our first vineyard. A tour and tasting in the Cianfagna wine cellar. Cianfagna specialise in producing award wining wines using the regional Tintilia grape variety.
Afternoon
After lunch, we drive to Campomarino to visit the wine cellar of Di Tullio, which rose from an ex airfield for spitfires flown by English, Danish and Irish pilots. Now people from these same countries come to celebrate the end of the war and enjoy the excellent wine.
Following is a visit to Campomarino and Campomarino Lido (weather permitting also a stroll on the beach)

Terresacre Wine Tasting + Free Time
Morning
Today will include a visit to Terresacre for wine tasting. Terresacre aim to combine modern winemaking methods while staying true to regional traditions.
Afternoon
The afternoon will be free for you to relax before we meet for Dinner.

Roman Amphitheater + Tenimenti Grieco Winery
Morning
9:00 drive to Larino where we will visit the The Larino Amphitheate, Palazzo Zappone and the Civic Museum. Also a visit to Larino’s Cathedral, which is considered to be one of the finest in Italy, followed by a stroll through Borgo Vecchio, the old town.
Afternoon
The vineyard visit for the day will be Tenimenti Grieco whose grapes come from fields overlooking the Adriatic coast at altitudes above 150 meters.
In the evening you’ll have free-time to select your own location for Dinner.

Monteroduni + Campi Valerio Vineyard
Morning
Drive to Monteroduni, a town situated on a slope of almost 460 meters above sea level. Here we will see the beautiful Pignatelli Castle and Saint Michael Archangel Church.
The day’s wine tasting and lunch will be at the wine cellar of Campi Valerio. Since 1974 the Valerio winery has been producing fine wines with great character.
Afternoon
We’ll drive back to the hotel for some free time before meeting for dinner.

La Pampanella + Wine Tasting + Termoli Old Town
Drive to Larino, a city of approximately 8,100 inhabitants. The city of Larino has been continuously inhabited for millennia. Originally settled by the Samnite and Frentani tribes of Southern Italy, the city came under the control of the Oscan civilization. In 217 BC, the Romans defeated Hannibal here, and it was later incorporated into the Roman Empire.
We will visit the Roman Amphitheater with a dedicated guide. The elliptical amphitheater was built in the 1st century AD by a prominent citizen of Larino who had made his fortune in far away Rome. The arena could comfortably seat 12,000 spectators.
After we’ll head over to Palazzo Zappone which was probably originally built as a Norman castle. The palace is now repainted as it would have looked decades ago. The structure has three distinct facades. One distinctly shows the physical structure of the original castle. The second has a renaissance feel and housed the rulers of the town. The third is a large brick neoclassical structure which was adjoined to the castle in the 19th century.
The day will also include a visit to the Civic Museum and Larino’s Cathedral, which is considered to be one of the finest in Italy, followed by a stroll through Borgo Vecchio, the old town.
Then there is free time for shopping, sightseeing and the obligatory Italian Gelato.
That evening will be our final Cooking Class followed by the presentation of your own recipe books.
